Join our Head of VAT, Christine Newitt for a basic overview of VAT as it applies to charities.

During this session, Christine will provide an introduction to VAT for charities, including:

     VAT basic principles and definitions
›  An overview of VAT on income received by charities
›  VAT reliefs and VAT recovery
›  Special rules for certain charities
   ›  General traps and pitfalls

The aim of this session is to explain what is classed as business and non-business activity from a VAT perspective, which supplies attract a VAT charge, which are exempt or outside the scope of VAT, and what VAT can be recovered by a charity.

Webinar host, Niall Kingsley, will close the event with a question and answer session.
