"We Statements" | Well Led and HR update

Together with Welby Assist, Duncan & Toplis will be delivering a series of insightful and educational online sessions.

The Care and Quality Commission’s key lines of enquiry will shortly be replaced by 34 Quality Statements (also known as “We Statements”). According to CQC, providers aligning with these statements will offer services at the 'Good' level, making them the minimum requirement for compliance with Fundamental Standards and Regulations.

During these four sessions, Welby Assist will delve deeper into the understanding of these "We Statements". Hosted by Chris Jarvis, a former CQC inspector, these webinars offer the opportunity to engage in real-time discussions and pose any questions on the topic, Chris will be joined by Duncan & Toplis advisers covering a range of topics including GP superannuation, pensions and payroll update, the latest in ESG best practice, and an HR update.

The fourth session will provide an HR update with people business partner, Katy Anderson.

Chris JarvisChris Jarvis brings a wealth of expertise in healthcare regulation and quality assurance, having dedicated 11 years to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as an inspector. Throughout his tenure, Chris played a pivotal role in ensuring and evaluating the standards of care provided by healthcare organisations. His commitment to upholding and enhancing the quality of healthcare services has made a lasting impact.

His extensive experience as an ex-CQC inspector has equipped him with unique insights into the intricacies of compliance, allowing him to provide valuable perspectives on how organisations can meet and exceed regulatory expectations.

Beyond his regulatory expertise, Chris Jarvis is now dedicated to sharing his knowledge and insights with others. Whether through mock inspections, staff education, or hosting webinars, Chris continues to contribute to the improvement of healthcare quality by empowering individuals and organisations with the information they need to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare regulation.
