Head of agriculture to discuss resilience at farming seminar
Our head of agriculture, Mark Chatterton, is set to deliver practical guidance for farmers and landowners at Active Business Partnerships’ upcoming ‘Adapt, Survive and Thrive’ seminar in Lincolnshire this month.
The seminar is an opportunity for rural businesses to assess the farming industry changes afoot and plan strategically for the future.
The highly anticipated event, hosted by local agricultural consultancy, Active Business Partnerships, will take place from 8:30 – 10:00 at the Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground and includes a complimentary breakfast.
- Mark Chatterton, director and head of agriculture at Duncan & Toplis
- James Lloyd, partner at Wilkin Chapman LLP
- Farm business consultants from Active Business Partnerships
Hamish Bichan from Active Business Partnerships is clear that there is a need for practical guidance in uncertain times.
“The seminar will look at what the future holds for rural businesses.
“Critical issues covered will be the increasing need to farm for the environment and the many benefits associated with sustainable farming practices, a look at viable farm diversification options as well as an insight into what we know about the future.”
The seminar is taking place on Thursday 28th November and is free to attend.
