A note from Managing Director, Adrian Reynolds

Adrian Reynolds | 5 November 2020

England will enter a second period of lockdown to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus on Thursday, 5 November through to Wednesday, 2 December 2020.

This remains a difficult time for everyone and at Duncan & Toplis we continue to take this situation very seriously.

I want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure that we stay available throughout this period and continue to support businesses whilst following government advice and guidelines.

Since March, most of our team members have been working remotely while continuing to provide the quality of service our clients expect from us and ensuring that we meet our obligations and responsibilities in helping to combat the spread of the virus.

We do remain open for business, however I am sure that you will understand that during this second lockdown period we will not be holding any face-to-face meetings in our offices.

We will continue to use the wide range of tools which enable us to maintain a close connection with our clients and contacts while working remotely. These include video conferencing, digital accountancy, remote auditing services, web chat, email and telephone calls.

Wherever possible we will correspond with our clients via email or our secure portal for data sensitive documents. We also ask that, where possible, information and documentation is provided to us electronically.

If for any reason you are unable to provide your documentation electronically, you will be able to drop off paperwork at our COVID safe offices. Please wear your mask at all times during any drop off at our locations. If you are medically exempt, we will have a contactless system in place - please call your local office in advance to arrange a time for your contactless drop off.

We encourage you to continue communicating with your usual Duncan & Toplis adviser in the same ways you have before.

There are many ways that we can help your business to minimise the impact of coronavirus and we are here for you. There is some excellent information available in our COVID-19 Knowledgebase but if you require specific, professional advice or support, please contact our team.
