Financial Services Administrator

We are looking for a Financial Services Administrator to join our experienced team of financial planners based in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

What does this role involve?

As a Financial Services Administrator, you will be focussed on client service, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, and have an ability to work well within compliance and industry regulations.

Record keeping

Record keeping is vital to the role and you will be confident in gathering data and writing clear reports and keeping track of invoices, tax payments and reimbursements.

Data management

You will be proficient in creating, maintaining and updating client information and records on our database system (Intelliflo) and be diligent in recording work in progress.

Administrative tasks

Dealing with telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner on a day-to-day basis, you will handle incoming post, filing to our digital systems, organising and sending outgoing post. Day-to-day you will manage a Financial Planner’s diary and schedule client appointments and internal meetings.

Skills and experience

To excel in this role you will need excellent organisational and time management skills and a professional and friendly manner. You will be able to use your own initiative and be able to prioritise tasks independently, with a strong attention for detail:

  • Excellent listening skills and able to provide clear verbal and written communication.
  • Previous knowledge or use of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of the Intelliflo system desirable
  • Basic knowledge of the financial services sector
  • Some knowledge of the FCA and record-keeping requirements is preferred.
