Marketing Operations Manager

What does this role involve?

As Marketing Operations Manager you will build, measure, optimise, and scale our marketing and business development programs to drive organisational growth.

Key accountabilities

Process management

You will identify, design and document scalable processes that enable the marketing team to be more effective in their daily work and drive alignment within the department and the wider organisation.

Goal setting

You will develop measurement plans that contain benchmarks and goals for each upcoming program or campaign, ensuring all marketing and business development initiatives are data-driven.

Performance measurement

Monitor business performance, develop insights, make recommendations, and implement optimisations, pipeline, content, channels, and campaigns - making recommendations to the team around process change and process improvement.

Infrastructure

You will be responsible for and will maintain and improve our marketing tech stack - working with Business Operations to manage the health of our database and our lead management process.

Lead management

You will support marketing and sales revenue goals by maintaining our lead management process, including lead lifecycle, lead scoring, and alerts.

Data management

You will work closely with business operations to ensure data is syncing as seamlessly as possible for accurate and up-to-date attribution, lead management, and reporting.

Skills and experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent by experience.
  • Marketing experience, and ideally three or more years of administration experience with strong knowledge of CRM and best utilisation of MarTech.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights and intelligence from marketing data.
  • Ability to understand, assess, and implement lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, personalisation, and other lead/client management practices.
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR regulations.

Key interfaces

As part of the marketing team, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and liaise and work with marketing team members, business development drivers, and heads of service lines and sectors, as is appropriate to the project.

Externally, you’ll be expected to engage with MarTech providers and third-party agencies.
