Alistair Main is an Assurance Director and Head of Assurance at Duncan & Toplis.
He leads the audit and assurance service line with overall responsibility for its strategic direction and quality. He combines this leadership role with managing a portfolio of clients as a Responsible Individual, advising businesses on governance, strategy and compliance.
Working primarily with family-owned and owner-managed businesses, as well as medium to large international groups, Alistair has experience across sectors including food production, manufacturing, haulage and retail. He supports clients with a wide range of corporate matters, from annual compliance through to restructuring and strategic planning.
Since joining in 2004, Alistair has progressed from trainee to director, demonstrating a strong commitment to both personal development and the evolution of the assurance service offering. He is passionate about innovation, using technology to enhance audit quality and efficiency while fostering a collaborative, service-led culture.
Alistair also contributes as part of the Duncan & Toplis Operations Board, co-chair of Kreston Global’s UK audit group, and member of the Spalding Neighbourhood Board.
