Amy is a Private Client Director and Head of Duncan & Toplis Legal Services.
Amy works with individuals, families and business owners to help protect their wealth, plan for the future and navigate complex personal and estate matters with confidence. As Head of Duncan & Toplis Legal Services, she leads the team while continuing to advise clients on a wide range of private client matters.
Amy qualified as a solicitor in 2017, having previously gained experience supporting a private client partner in a legal practice. In 2021, she achieved a distinction in her final STEP examinations, becoming a STEP Trust and Estate Practitioner, a recognised specialist qualification in wills, trusts and estate planning.
Working closely with Duncan & Toplis' tax advisory specialists, Amy helps deliver joined-up advice that considers legal, tax and family objectives together. Her expertise includes succession and estate planning, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and the administration of both straightforward and complex estates. She regularly advises high-net-worth individuals and families on matters involving business assets, agricultural interests and international considerations.
