Damon Tunnicliffe

Damon Tunnicliffe is a Payroll Director and Head of Payroll at Duncan & Toplis.

Damon moved into payroll in 2011 after successfully completing his AAT qualification, quickly discovering a passion for the field. He went on to achieve his Payroll Technician qualification in 2015 and was appointed Payroll Manager in 2018 before being promoted to Head of Payroll in April 2024.

In the same year, Damon was recognised as one of Accountancy Age’s “35 under 35” for his commitment to excellence and innovation in payroll services. He has built a loyal and diverse client base by building strong relationships and paying close attention to detail, with particular expertise in NHS pension payroll schemes. He is also a member of the Operations Board and plays an active role in driving new business growth.

Outside of work, Damon actively supports his local sporting community, serving as Chairman of Sleaford Town Football Club.
