Peter Wilson is a Director of Duncan & Toplis and Managing Director of Castlegate Financial Management, where he leads the group's wealth management business and chairs both the Wealth Management Board and Investment Committee.
With more than 30 years' experience, Peter has built a career focused on helping individuals, families and business owners achieve their goals through high-quality financial planning, investment management and exceptional client service. He is passionate about delivering a client-first approach and creating long-term value through trusted advice and strong professional relationships.
Before joining Duncan & Toplis, Peter held senior leadership positions across the financial services sector, including Director of Innovation at Legal & General Investment Management and Group Managing Director at Flying Colours Financial Advice. His experience spans strategic leadership, adviser development, client experience and investment innovation. He has also worked with HM Treasury and the Financial Conduct Authority, contributing to the development of the UK Financial Capability Strategy.
Peter brings a broad commercial perspective, having held leadership roles within global organisations including Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and Kettle Foods. At Duncan & Toplis, he is focused on strengthening the group's wealth management offering and helping clients navigate an increasingly complex financial landscape with confidence.
Alongside his professional responsibilities, Peter serves as Chair of Medair, an international humanitarian organisation supporting communities affected by conflict, disaster and crisis around the world. Outside work, he enjoys running, cycling, playing music and spending time with his family.
