| , | 30 March 2026 | 12:30-13:10

Catch up on this practical session, hosted by our Sustainability Champion, Sally-Anne Hurn, exploring how businesses can navigate rising energy costs and strengthen resilience in today’s economic climate.

John Haw, CEO of Fidelity Energy, shared ways you can reduce energy spend through:

  • smarter contract negotiation
  • estate-wide audits, and
  • other opportunities, such as solar adoption.

This webinar highlighted simple, effective steps businesses can take to manage consumption, cut unnecessary costs, and lower carbon emissions.

Whether you're reviewing your current strategy or seeking new ways to improve efficiency, this session offered clear guidance to help your business stay in control.

Sally-Anne was elected as our first-ever Sustainability Champion. With her clear passion and desire to improve the social impact of our group and our clients, she monitors our ESG position and works with the sustainability project team to build their skills so that we can also help clients with their own ESG policies. Sally has also recently been shortlisted in the ‘Green Leader’ category in the East Midlands Leadership Awards 2024.

Sally-Anne qualified as a chartered accountant in 2008, the same year that she joined Duncan & Toplis. Sally-Anne looks after the accounting and auditing requirements of a varied portfolio of clients operating in sectors such as agriculture, construction and transport. She is also involved in corporate and personal taxation matters.
