The Duncan & Toplis Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact across the communities surrounding its locations, awarding grants to charities within a 20-mile radius. One of its latest beneficiaries is The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation, which has received funding to support its Inclusive Junior Golf Project in Lincolnshire for 2026.
Established in loving memory of Woodhall Spa Golf Club member Elexis Brown, the Foundation is dedicated to making golf accessible to children from underprivileged and disadvantaged backgrounds. Its work ensures that young people, regardless of financial circumstances or personal challenges, have the opportunity to experience the enjoyment, discipline and personal development that sport can offer.
The grant will help The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation support children who may otherwise have limited access to golf, including those facing financial barriers, living in care, or managing conditions such as ADHD, autism or disabilities. By removing these barriers, the project aims to create a safe and inclusive environment where children can build confidence, develop resilience and engage in positive activity.
Through the Inclusive Junior Golf Project, new participants in Lincolnshire will be introduced to the game, supported on their individual journeys and encouraged to achieve both on and off the course. The initiative also focuses on long-term impact, helping children to progress into sustained participation through access to equipment, coaching and membership opportunities.
This support goes beyond sport, contributing to improved emotional wellbeing and personal growth. For many young people, involvement in structured activity can play a key role in building stability, confidence and a sense of belonging.
Benjamin Peter, Chair and Trustee of The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation, said: “The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kay Botley and The Duncan & Toplis Foundation for their generous support of our Inclusive Junior Golf Project – Lincolnshire 2026. Without their support, this project would not be moving forward into 2026. We are truly grateful and look forward to working closely with The Duncan & Toplis Foundation throughout the journey, sharing regular updates and photos as the project develops. Thank you from everyone at The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation.”
