Duncan & Toplis Director chosen as vice-chair of accountancy ethics committee

Duncan & Toplis Director, Stuart Brown has been appointed vice-chair of the ICAEW Ethics and Advisory Committee.

Stuart who has been a member of the ICAEW’s Ethics Advisory Committee since 2021 and the organisation’s Members and Commercial Board since 2023, is also our Head of Technical and Compliance.

The ICAEW Ethics Advisory Committee

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is a professional membership organisation for 208,000 chartered accountants and students in 146 countries.

The ICAEW’s Ethics Advisory Committee helps to develop new guidance for the profession, as well as reviewing cases, taking part in consultations, and providing feedback and recommendations to other committees.

Stuart Brown, Director and Head of Technical and Compliance at Duncan & Toplis and newly appointed vice-chair of the ICAEW Ethics Committee, said:
