Grantham ARK receives support from The Duncan & Toplis Foundation

| Duncan & Toplis | 23 October 2023

We’re pleased to announce the next recipient of grant funding from The Duncan & Toplis Foundation.

Grantham ARK protects and supports local people who are experiencing homelessness. The charity was launched in 2020 by the vicar of St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham when he realised that vulnerable people were having to travel out of the local area to access support.

The charity provides temporary accommodation, an address, plus support services that help break the cycle that’s stopping local people from getting back on their feet.

Speaking of the grant, Lesley Pashley, trustee at Grantham ARK said:

“We are about to equip our first house that will provide emergency accommodation for four individuals. The grant will be used to provide a safe and comfortable place to live, in particular, will be used to purchase bedding and towels.”

“On behalf of Grantham ARK, I would like to extend our thanks to The Duncan & Toplis Foundation”

Theo Banos, Director at Duncan & Toplis Grantham and trustee at The Duncan & Toplis Foundation said:

“Small local charities are at risk of being overlooked, so we were delighted to be approached by Grantham ARK and extend our help for such practical necessities. We hope this goes some way towards providing a safe and comfortable space for the struggling people in our region”.
