We’re looking for an Audit Lead to ensure the successful completion of client audits, including all elements of planning, fieldwork, and team member supervision, at our Newark, Loughborough, Stamford, Boston, Sleaford, Grantham, or London locations.

What does this role involve?

The Audit Lead is responsible for overseeing the completion of audit assignments to ensure that work is completed to necessary deadlines and standards.

Team management

You will be required to support on-the-job training of team members and review their work as necessary to improve performance and underpin excellence. This includes team leadership, supporting advanced technical testing during assignments, managing budgets, and ensuring objectives are met.

Client experience

You will be required to develop positive working relationships with client team members to enable openness, trust, and transparency.

Skills and experience

• be a critical and collaborative thinker
• have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• hold good working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
• be AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or have three years audit experience
