What does this role involve?

Joining us as a CFAB Trainee, you will be enrolled on a fully funded level seven apprenticeship to complete the certificate staged of the ACA qualification, progressing onto your professional and advanced stages of ACA within a four-year training contract with ongoing personal development and career progression.

You will gain exposure to all aspects of tax and across other service lines to gather a basic understanding of core principles.

Teamwork

During your training contract, you will gain hands-on experience with our core service line teams - including assurance, business services, and tax - helping you to put everything you learn into action in real-life scenarios.

You will be responsible for supporting the wider team to deliver accountancy and audit services whilst undertaking studies to achieve an industry-recognised qualification.

Client experience

You will develop and maintain the professional competencies necessary to provide a high-quality service to clients, contributing to the company’s reputation, strength, and success.

Skills and experience

In addition to GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4+ or equivalent and three A-Levels grade A-C or 120 UCAS points equivalent, it would be advantageous to have some of the following skills and experience:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Effective time management to balance work and study
  • Collaborative approach to working effectively as part of a wider team

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online aptitude and ability test, followed by an in-person assessment. Our assessment days will be scheduled between Monday 24 February and Friday 7 March 2025.
