Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

Our corporate tax team is seeking a qualified Tax Assistant Manager to play a key role in delivering UK corporate tax services and advice to clients.

What does this role involve?

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will keep client relationship managers well informed and provide regular updates on project progress, along with identifying and escalating any issues as necessary.

You will scope client requirements and ensure that assignments are carried out efficiently within budget. You will also actively participate in pitching for new business opportunities and developing tender documents.

Team management

You will write technical reports of findings and review those prepared by other team members, providing timely feedback on their work.

In addition, you will ensure that your team is equipped with the skills they need to deliver the best possible client experience, coupled with clear career opportunities and a supportive work environment in which talents can flourish. You will be required to conduct performance reviews and set clear objectives while maintaining fairness, equality, diversity, and inclusivity.

Client experience

As Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall quality of individual client assignments and delivery of a complete service whilst ensuring invoices are raised in a timely manner.

Skills and experience

  • have good communication skills, enabling you to work effectively and collaboratively in a team
  • have interpersonal and people management skills
  • be experienced in research and development tax credits, capital allowances, share schemes, due diligence, and corporate restructuring
  • be ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified, or ATT qualified with a minimum of two year’s post-qualification experience
