Tax Adviser (Trusts)

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Tax Adviser to join our trust team.

As a Tax Adviser, you will be part or fully qualified in AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA or qualified by experience and deliver high-quality compliance services and tax advice to our clients

It would be advantageous to have the following skills, but we welcome all applicants to join our talented team:

  • Ability to prioritise own workload and manage budgets
  • Confident and effective communicator
  • Experience of preparing forms IHT100
  • Experience of working with trusts
  • Self-motivated for technical knowledge, and personal development

What does this role involve?

You will be responsible for reviewing trust tax returns, assisting in the completion of inheritance tax forms for trusts, and assisting clients with their Trust Registration Service (TRS) obligations. You will work with other members of your service line and ensure that assignments are carried out in a timely manner and within specified budgets.  

You will contribute to the provision of tax advice for our trust clients including advising clients on the tax implications of making distributions, on planning opportunities ahead of 10-year anniversaries, and on winding up trusts.
