Duncan & Toplis has been recognised for its continued investment in its people, expertise and future growth after winning the Investment Award at the East Midlands Business of the Year Awards 2026.
The award recognises businesses that demonstrate strong financial performance alongside a clear commitment to investment and ambitious plans for the future.
Charles Burrell, Head of Manufacturing and Engineering, and Damon Tunnicliffe, Head of Payroll, represented Duncan & Toplis at the awards ceremony on 15 October at the Crowne Plaza in Nottingham, where the business was announced as the winner.
The recognition comes at an exciting time for Duncan & Toplis. Building on more than a century of heritage, the business continues to invest in its people, specialist expertise and technology, while being part of a wider group creates further opportunities for collaboration and a more joined-up approach to supporting clients.

The Investment Award reflects the progress being made across Duncan & Toplis and the contribution of team members throughout the business as it continues to strengthen its services and invest for the future.
Damon Brain, CEO of Duncan & Toplis, said:
