We’re now looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor who wants to play a meaningful role in delivering high-quality client outcomes and developing their career in a forward-thinking environment.

As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be expected to have a solid grounding in commercial property. Experience in conveyancing, as well as commercial property and small business transactions, is essential, along with purchase/sale transactions and leases. In addition to handling your own case load of files, you will be expected to provide support to other members of the team as well as play a key role in business development.
An integral part of the commercial property team is being able to advise on a wide range of property matters.
Management and development of associates and managers to cultivate their teams. Oversee resource planning and budgeting, manager development, and conduct manager performance reviews, including the setting of clear objectives.
Line manage and mentor team members and provide structured coaching to build capability, confidence, and operational accuracy.
Providing legal advice and assistance to existing clients, whilst developing and establishing new clients.

advise clients on all aspects of property matters
prepare and draft all documents in relation to property matters
be able to see a matter from the opening of a file to the closure of a file
work independently and maintain confidentiality
follow up on new leads
manage cases at a level of complexity appropriate to your level and experience
handle commercial and potential residential property transactions from the initial client contact through to completion, such as sale and purchase of commercial/residential freehold and leasehold premises, landlord and tenant matters, acquisition and sale of property for development, and acting for pension schemes, trusts, and companies
manage cases to a high standard and in accordance with SRA requirements and the Law Society protocol
A qualified solicitor based in the East Midlands who can commute to our Grantham office every Wednesday
Recent experience in UK Commercial Property and Residential is desirable
Someone who can work independently, with a high regard for quality and subject matter expertise, to advise our clients in all matters related to Commercial and Residential property legal matters
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and database software
