Catch up on this webinar, hosted by Head of Academies, Rachel Barrett, that introduced the Department for Education's (DfE) strategy, climate action plan requirements, and the support available for settings to develop and deliver them.
Rachel was joined by Sustainability Champion and Director, Sally-Anne Hurn, and guest presenter Matilda Crane from the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, who provided guidance on the climate change strategy responsibilities.
The DfE has declared that all education settings in England should have a climate action plan and sustainability lead in place by the end of 2025 - make sure you're prepared.
Rachel is Head of Academies and a Business Services Director at Duncan & Toplis.
Since joining the team in 2007, Rachel has grown the team that supports academies, Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), special schools, and free and independent schools across the East Midlands to offer a specialised service for the sector.
She is also a trustee and chair of finance at North Kesteven Academy in Lincoln, a standalone secondary academy trust, and is on the local governing body of Horncastle Primary School, part of the Wellspring Trust.
