The government has announced that applications opened on Monday 23 October for the eighth round of the Countryside Stewardship Facilitation Fund (‘CSFF’).
Farming groups and landowners can now bid for a share of the £2.5 million fund which will be released over the next three years. Each group can apply for up to £50,000 to deliver improvements to local environmental outcomes such as enhancing wildflower or grassland, or to protect meadows and woodland.
The fund is a key element to the deliverables of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
