Eighth round of Countryside Stewardship Facilitation Fund now open to applications

The government has announced that applications opened on Monday 23 October for the eighth round of the Countryside Stewardship Facilitation Fund (‘CSFF’).

Farming groups and landowners can now bid for a share of the £2.5 million fund which will be released over the next three years. Each group can apply for up to £50,000 to deliver improvements to local environmental outcomes such as enhancing wildflower or grassland, or to protect meadows and woodland.

The fund is a key element to the deliverables of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
