Take a look at our training options - including apprenticeships. The right choice for you will depend on your education level and career experience so far.

Gain on-the-job experience in your field of interest while you study for your accountancy qualifications. You can become an AAT trainee, ATT trainee, CFAB trainee, payroll trainee, or VAT trainee by completing an apprenticeship with us. Each apprenticeship has different entry requirements, conditions, and opportunities - enjoy discovering the differences between each one.
This route is for those who have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4-9 and three A-Levels at Grade A-C (or equivalent). With this pathway, you’ll be able to gain hands-on workplace experience while studying for your Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualifications. These are foundational qualifications for aspiring accountants and tax professionals.
Check out our range of open graduate roles across a range of different specialisms on our advanced pathway. These roles are for university graduates with a degree, or those who have already completed the AAT qualification. You can find out more here.
Whichever pathway is right for you - an accountancy apprenticeship, or other trainee position - you can be sure that you’ll be benefiting from world-leading training and mentoring.
We’ll always encourage you to reach high, which might mean completing qualifications during your training. We don’t just tolerate this - we actively encourage career development. The Duncan & Toplis team will always support you to achieve your chartered qualifications.
