Based in Loughborough, Equality Action is a registered charity that has championed equality and human rights since 1969. The charity promotes equality and diversity, offering advice and guidance across a wide range of topics including health, community cohesion and equal opportunities.
Equality Action provides confidential advice and information on welfare benefits, health, housing and immigration. Current projects of the charity include ‘Positive Minds’ and ‘Community Cohesion’. Their five-year project ‘Positive Minds’ aims to address issues surrounding mental and physical health, particularly among black, Asian, and ethnic minority women. ‘Community Cohesion’ aims to provide psychological therapies for depression and anxiety for those aged 16 and over.
Duncan & Toplis began working with Equality Action more than 15 years ago, supporting the charity with multiple services, including the preparation of financial statements and independent examinations.
