Alison is head of business services at Duncan & Toplis.
Alison joined the firm in 1994 after completing a degree in Classics at Manchester University. She qualified in 1999 and worked as an audit supervisor looking after a varied client base of medium-sized businesses.
In 2013, Alison was part of the firm's specialist Academy department before taking up a client manager role at Boston. Alison now looks after the accounting requirements of a varied portfolio of small to medium-sized owner-managed clients operating in sectors such as leisure, manufacturing, and childcare. As head of business services, Alison is in a prime position to drive change across the organisation, allowing for increased efficiency, work-sharing, and better leveraging of skills and resources.
