The Duncan & Toplis Foundation is delighted to be supporting EDAN Lincs with grant funding.
EDAN Lincs (Ending Domestic Abuse Now in Lincolnshire) is a registered domestic abuse service charity based in Lincoln, helping women, men, and children. Their mission is to support and empower all those affected by domestic abuse, raise awareness of the impacts of domestic abuse, and promote intolerance of it.
Anna Davis, Fundraising and Communications Coordinator at EDAN Lincs said:
“Domestic abuse affects everyone, young and old, from individuals to across entire families. It can have a significant long-term impact on mental health and therefore this a top priority for us when dealing with victims of domestic abuse. A wide spectrum of support is key to enable clients to move forward with their lives. The various ways EDAN Lincs helps people include providing advice and support, outreach services, training, communication, and refuge temporary accommodation.
“We would like to extend our thanks to the Duncan & Toplis Foundation for their support which will be used to purchase a laptop for a member of staff to use in our refuge/emergency accommodation to assist residents with applications for schools, securing housing and accessing our domestic abuse online course.
“Ultimately, It will help us to help those who have fled domestic abuse to move on and regain their freedom and confidence”.

“In 2022 alone, over 2 million adults – men and women – were victims of domestic abuse, so we’re humbled to offer support in any way we can. Each year, around 2 million people suffer some form of domestic abuse, and naturally, we are delighted to have the opportunity to support EDAN Lincs. We hope the laptop will be of help”.
