Recruitment resumes at Duncan & Toplis

| | Duncan & Toplis | 18 September 2020

As one of the Midlands’ largest companies of accountants and business advisers, we have restarted recruitment in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Like many companies, we put recruitment on hold during the nationwide lockdown as we focused on supporting clients and giving free information and guidance to the wider business community during the pandemic, through our COVID-19 Knowledgebase.

Now, recruitment has begun again with the advertising of seven new roles, and we are also inviting applications for our well-regarded traineeship programme.

Positions including the role of Audit Senior, Administration Assistant, VAT Manager, Accounts Assistant and Payroll Processor are available, with each role offering flexible working, generous employee benefit schemes and exceptional opportunities for growth and development.

Candidates can now also apply for our 2021 traineeship programme through our careers website. This programme offers successful candidates an exceptional start to a career in accountancy, with past trainees now holding some of the most senior positions at our award-winning firm.

Candidates hoping to join our 2021 trainee intake will need to demonstrate their competency across a range of skills required to be great accountants as part of a supportive and thorough recruitment process.

Head of HR and Payroll, Heidi Thompson said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to be offering new job opportunities for talented people in the East Midlands. From junior roles for people at the start of their careers, to senior positions with responsibility for important fieldwork and assignments, we’re proud to be creating jobs at a time when they’re needed most.

“We’re also excited to be opening recruitment for our well-regarded traineeship programme, which will give a group of talented new recruits an amazing start to their accountancy career.

“COVID-19 has been a challenging time for everyone, but our team members have worked hard to provide critical support to our clients, helping organisations to protect their employees, sustain their businesses, access vital support and gear up for the ‘new normal’.

“There’ll be hard times ahead for the economy and many businesses will struggle in the months and years ahead, so we’re on the lookout for passionate, talented, diligent and enthusiastic individuals to join our award-winning team.”
