Joining us as a Legal Services Administrator, you will be educated to a GCSE level or equivalent, with experience working in Legal administrative roles. You need to be an experienced team player with the ability to maintain high standards whilst meeting deadlines. It would be advantageous to have the following skills, but we welcome all applicants to join our talented team:

  • Must possess Microsoft Office IT skills
  • Have experience working in administrative roles
  • Legal experience is preferable
  • Experience in dictations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365

What does this role involve?

As a Legal Services Administrator, you will assist with administrative support to the legal team, including management of the workflow. You will also produce legal documents for our fee-earning team. Your duties will also involve supporting the team with matters on a daily basis, including dictation, arranging meetings, travel and conferences, marketing, preparing expense claims, and managing the diary.

You will also be responsible for managing the department databases which include:

  • Setting up new clients
  • Using checklists to ensure all details are available and recorded correctly
  • Producing client letters and letters of engagement, including both standard and templates and deviations
  • Monitoring the return of letters of engagement
